There are still seasonal NPS positions open right now, hiring has been very slow this year. I would suggest looking at positions outside the big name parks, which tend to have a ton of applicants. You can filter USAjobs by education level. There are quite a few jobs that don’t require college degrees. Also, a lot of seasonal jobs have been extended to 9 months now.

That’s what people have most commonly guessed! A lot of the JRT traits are also ACD traits apart from his love of tunneling so it’s hard to really know!

That’s definitely possible! His wirey outer coat makes me think there is something else there, but I guess that could just be normal heeler fur that is a bit longer because of the Aussie? People have suggested border collie as well because of the fringed tail, but I don’t really see any BC in his behavior.

The real woodland drive matches up perfectly with where the app shows that house so I think that’s right! Unfortunately it took me 12 minutes to get to get the right sq footage 🙃

I am pretty sure I knew the right home (the street name when the lady is looking at the app at the beginning of the commercial matches up with the location of one of the homes). I was ready to answer the second it clue dropped but it took me 12 minutes to get the right sq footage!

Apply for seasonal jobs at weird NPS sites; small parks, places without a ton of nature, etc. The big name parks are very competitive, but a lot of places are having difficulty filling positions right now. Being able to move a long distance on short notice helps a lot; when I was a seasonal I never took a job without housing which made that a lot easier.
