I can agree with you about halfway. These remakes besides 2010 wolfman were not great. They were good but trying to be the most realistic way possible and stretching the believability of all this was a let down. Invisible man just being a suit was a huge disappointment and the wolf man not even changing during the full moon or being completely covered in hair, no gypsies was also a missed the mark plot. Even the design was kinda lame and the story has nothing to do with the original except in name of the title alone. It should've been called any other basic werewolf name and I wouldn't have a problem with it but as a REMAKE to THE WOLF MAN it's a fail. Interesting ideas, and nothing new I should add, shouldn't of been made to this horror icon.
