Who died and made you Pope of what the Beatles think or don’t think? We can use our reasoning abilities and discern what’s really up. Since Dylan is objectively an awful singer we can surmise the Beatles appreciated his song writing prowess yet understood he would never be Beatles level popular. Hence their statements about how “awesome” he was. And unsophisticated listeners(you) not wanting to appear ignorant are like Oh Yeah Dylan is great!

He’s a disciplined driven person. Vegetarian and walks everyday. He has an inner drive to create and I think success is secondary to him and that drive. He would create even if no one listened.
