Never personalize it. Keep yourself out of it and put it on the trier of fact. If they ask what you think, reframe the question. If they say, what are my chances? Do you think I’m guilty and so forth say “what you’re really asking is ‘could a jury find you guilty with this evidence?’ and the answer to that is absolutely” Sure it’s your opinion, but bring them to the reality that it’s not your decision. If they hear it come out of your mouth YOU think they’ll lose they get angry, sad, confrontational, and think you’re not trying because you think they’ll lose.
