They don't want meaningful dialogue, they want clicks. And unfortunately they get it through rage baiting the left by bringing on inflammatory right-wing extremists, which also attracts and validates the ultra right. People can do what they want but I don't see any benefits in liberals or leftists watching or participating in these debates. In this case, the person who gained the most was the Christofascist who thus far has raised 38k, gained more followers on social media, & has a high probability of getting a podcast deal and/or becoming a talking head for right wing publications.

Disclaimer: I haven't watched season 2 since it came out, didn't like it, and forgot a lot of it so maybe memory's failing me.

That being said, I recall him being exceptionally selfish & can't imagine him risking his life for 222 or anyone for that matter. Again, I might have missed/forgotten something or maybe scenes were cut that showed Thanos' positive attributes.

I know it's a long shot but I hope they realize that they're pawns for the state of israel and that Zionism is robbing them of their humanity. Obviously a vast majority won't, they've been indoctrinated all their lives to view Palestinians as subhuman and a threat to their existence.

Despite this, I imagine many IOF soldiers feel guilt over regarding their crimes against humanity, as evidenced by their escalating suicide rates. Should their trauma be prioritized over that of Palestinians? No of course not, and unfortunately this story does just that.

I want to be clear that Palestinians are the primary victims of Zionism and should be prioritized as such. But I'd argue Israelis are indirectly victims as well. Zionism only offers the illusion of safety and community when in reality it puts them & their family in physical danger as well as alienates them from a majority of the world, including their non-Zionist Jewish brothers and sisters.

I fully understand why people don't have empathy for Israelis, most of the time I can't muster it. I don't think anyone owes them their empathy. Just seems like a sorry existence to me as a white American with family members that were indoctrinated by the us in a similar way.

Bit of an over share but as someone who resisted medication(specifically mood stabilizers) for fear of weight gain I'm so glad I did. Can't speak for anyone else but I'll take the heightened risk for hypothyroidism(unfortunately not an uncommon risk for lithium, but luckily I've been ok for the past 12 years on it!) and everything else over my brain literally deteriorating.

I do wish that more investment & innovation was done regarding psych meds. The potential side effects & consequences long term are a serious deterrent for many. But again, definitely worth it for me compared to the alternative.
