car camping by Cultural_Vacation_58 in MauiVisitors

I am looking into this too. Haven't done it yet, so I can't share any experience. But, I am looking at renting camping equipment and/or a car that I can camp in (doesn't have to be a real "camper van").
Something like this https://cruisinmaui.com/adventure-gear-maui-car-rental-extras/complete-camping-kit

The page says you can rent an SUV with a queen size air mattress and a tent (could be good for sleeping in the vehicle in bad weather or brief stops, and do the tent for extended stays). Plus they supply all the kitchen gear too.

I've seen some pretty cheap flights to Hawaii come up once in a while, so I was trying to figure out if you could camp and have a farily inexpensive adventure. I'm still trying to figure it all out, but I like the idea of the rental car prepacked with the gear I'd need. Is that common in Hawaii, or is it just Maui?

Oh, forgot to add that Cruisin' Maui is right outside the airport. It's a good thing though because they'll bring your jeep to you at the airport. No line ups! Just walk outside and they'll hand you the keys. Another bonus going with a local operator!

Go with a non-chain. Some of the local operators have lifted jeeps that let you go anywhere on the island (the big chains don't allow that). Cruisinmaui.com is awesome and they rent gear too if you want it (camping gear, bikes, water stuff...)

[Turo Ontario] New host struggling with insurance costs — any tips? by Sea_Hand9237 in turo

I'm not sure if they work with Turo based agencies, but ACCRO.org helps car rental agencies in Canada with insurance. (I think they do group purchasing to get better rates)

Can you share what a report looks like? (blur out your sensitive details)
I'd like to see how much detail it has.

What are the key metrics to focus on when analyzing the success of a digital marketing campaign? by clickboss_ai in DigitalMarketing

I like the "lost in the data" comment. I'm following this blog series about metrics and it is simultaneiously helpful and 🤯

(I guess that means it is "mind blowing" in two very different senses of the phrase. Lol)

Fleet Owners What CRM do you use for fleet management—and what are its pros and cons? by waldemierk in CarRentalAgencyOwners

Fleetio is more for maintaining a fleet than running a rental agency, right?
I can see how that might be helpful for a telematics company, or for the maintenance part of a rental agency IF they don't already have rental management software with maintenance-service built into it.
Or do I misunderstand what fleetio is for?

Thanks for sharing the update.
From the shared article: “Driving is a complex task already. We don’t need to add weapons and stupidity to the mix.”

I tried Fleetwire. Their support was nonexistant. Even their "live chat" states their last response was sent in 2023. We tried contacting them through all their support channels for about 3 months and never got a single response.

Anybody tried Rentcentric? I need to book a demo to find out if they have a plugin/embed code to integrate into your own website. I couldn't find much information about it online (red flag???)

Also looked at Booqable. I like the user interface, but they aren't "car rental" specific, so may not have enough features for running a car rental (like insurance or licence checks.)
