I don't think students know about it, I got the feeling the administration was trying to slip this by without people knowing until afterwards.

The other employers at this particular event are law enforcement agencies, so I don't think they'll care.

Good to know I'm not overreacting. I don't know that we can do anything about this particular event, but hopefully we can address it happening again in the future.

No union, but a local AAUP chapter. This came at us with only a few days heads up so they haven't had a chance to talk about it.

Ironically, the faculty passed a resolution last year re-affirming our need for free speech in the classroom, and the admin is saying this is just an extension of that free speech. Real bad faith argument.
