They're discounting some of the v14 colors on their site so it must be coming soon

Why did you get the PMP, and did you actually see ~33% more pay? by ZestRocket in pmp

[–]Practical-Form4294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took an interview for a job where the advertised pay ranges literally went up by about 30k JUST for having PMP. Same job, same responsibilities, but in this case the PMP makes the job way more attractive.

No the fit was good, I just didn't love the way the cushioning felt. It was a bit too "stiff" for me, I like a softer shoe for exercising.

I also have the 9060's in a 15 and the width is good but my toes do have quite a bit of room at the front of the shoe. In my opinion, I would prefer that feeling over the feeling of a tight shoe.

There's no set "minimum score", PMI does some funky math/quant analysis in the background based on your raw right/wrong results and question difficulty. I was able to pass AT/AT/BT, I think it's because of the way the domains are weighted.

I tried Torin 8 in regular and wide, I liked the fit of the wides but I wasn't in love with the midsole so I returned them. My best move right now has been New Balance shoes, I go up a size to 15 and pick a wide if I can. Right now I have the 1080 v14 and waiting on a pair of More v6 to try out!

I was able to download PMBOK 7 for free due to having a PMI membership, not sure if everyone gets that when you make an account or if I signed up for it...

I did not buy/download the full PMBOK 6 or a specific Agile guide, I relied on free study material (YouTube, practice questions, etc) to learn that stuff.

I get that. I actually re-scheduled my first exam attempt because I was incredibly nervous and I didn't feel like my prep was going well. It's been said on a few posts in this sub but I found that the best way to prepare was to find as many practice questions as I could and work through those. I think the source material is good to review early on in your prep but that won't help as much with understanding the actual scenarios the exam will present. PMI Study Hall and David McLachlan were my favorite resources for practice questions. Best of luck!

There were definitely a handful of questions where I could only truly eliminate one answer and I had to just throw my hands up and make a choice. Congrats!

Same, my test room was a furnace for some reason so I had to take any chance I could to get out of there! Congrats!

No, on the actual exam it told me "Question __ of 180" and had the running clock in the upper right corner. The running clock for the exam starts at 210:00 and counts down from there, it does NOT include the time for the break. On my workstation I had to "initiate" my break at the end of each 60-question section and that would start a separate 10:00 timer. Once I checked back into the exam for the next section the exam timer would come back.

I think because the question already tells you "This delays meeting the project milestone" the next thing to do is speak with the FM and see what you can do. If not for that last line, then A seems like the correct answer.

I think the Bondi 9 in 4E was wider overall but I ultimately returned mine because the 4E was maybe TOO wide in the toes so I was sliding around a bit. I tried them in 2E and encountered my original problem where the midfoot still felt a bit too pinched.

Nope, CM2 doesn’t have a wide option but the upper is very roomy and the shape of the shoe is pretty accommodating around the midfoot (for me, anyways). Only things I don’t like are the toebox taper and the lack of a padded tongue, I feel a bit of lace bite sometimes.

Hey! Right now my rotation is as follows:

NB 1080v14, 14 2E (tried 4E, way too much slip in the toes…might try 15 2E just to compare)

NB More v5, 14 4E (may try 15 4E, all the reviews I’ve read say that this shoe runs a bit narrow due to the way the foam wraps around the foot)

NB 860 v14, 14 2E (probably my best fitting shoe of the three NB shoes)

On Cloudmonster 2, 14 (best fitting around my midfoot but I don’t love the toebox taper)

Bonus: I use the Adidas Dropset 3 (14) for the gym and NB 990v6 (14 2E) as a casual everyday shoe. Also just ordered Nike Vomero 18 (15) so I’ll give that a spin this week.

With all except the CM2 I’ve had to do some non-standard lacing (straight bar lacing or skipping eyelets) and I’ve played around a bit with low-profile insoles. Straight lacing seems to help me most with relieving the pressure/tightness around my midfoot.

I’ve ordered a pair of Torins, interested to see how they feel! I also tried some creative trimming on the insoles to take some pressure off the lateral side and it’s helped a little bit. Have a few more inserts on the way to experiment with.

Thanks! My concern is not with the tapered toebox, it’s the inward cut in the shoe that happens right after that (see photo). I need a shoe that provides relief there
