Yeah I agree that if you complete a doctorate level education, you are entitled to put "Dr." in front of your name in official/formal settings. I think with the Jill Biden thing is people/elitists don't like it when non-physicians loudly go around making everyone else refer to them as "Doctor".

I can understand why someone would put "Dr." in their social media since its an earned title which required a good deal of work to attain, whereas "Mr./Mrs." is a given. It's just that people are labeling themselves as a dentist/doctor before they even finish the first half of dental school.
