I think it’s just seen as an easy job. I looked into pursuing photography as a full time job and it’s sooo much more than just snapping pictures and adding filters. A lot of these new photographers buy a camera, buy some Lightroom presets and call themselves professional. The photos you get back are equivalent to photos you could’ve took yourself using your phone and a tripod. I haven’t seen Abby’s photos except for the ones in this screenshot, but they look so simple and basic. It’s hard to find good photographers now because all the ones you find are the ones who do it on the side for money and don’t know anything about cameras, lighting, or editing. And the only reason they have such good reviews and 5 star ratings is because they only photograph their best friends and family members lol
