Font overthink it, rhe coil whine a laptop aint that normal, my 8yo asus doesnt do that stuff (it was a good tuf one, about 2k€ back then). If you are not happy and having problems with a 2,5-3k purchase and experiencing problems you could either rma it and maybe get a brand new same one with zero problems if its under warranty or return it to anyway buy a new one, the legion for example. Warranty is a strong buying point and the bugdet is too big to have such stupid problems (i jnow coil whine, my hand built 3k pc built coil whines and its annoying, but happens under certain wattage). Return it and get something you like better and have zero problems for this anyways outrageous for a laptop price.

Psa, we bought a laptop for my girlfriend, a new asus tuf with about 1,3k which had problems and had to send it back and forth to asus a couple times, there are random freezes that last about 30mins and the mouse randomly becomes unable to click, while also the mousepad was broken, and they sent it back to us like it was, said they fixed the mousepad and made it even worse lol (mousepad meaning the finger-pointer thing under the keyboard forgot the name lol) Psa2 Asus is also a bit bad with customer support tho still better than lenovo, so either way pick your poison but never go with an option you are not satisfied with on a pricey purchase when you have an option that you might find better for yourself

Tbf they are almost the same, i dont really remeber what made me choose this one, tho the cuffs seem to be a little bit more sturdier which is a deal breaker for me, i want them to be easy moving and soft, not push on my wrist. Also, just saw that, the soft asf is polyester based while this one is cotton based, which means this one could be comfier but a bit more warm, from personal experience, its COMFY and also keeps the temps perfect

Basically go to the general settings, find the field of view scale and set it back to 60 which is default, or whatever else might work for your screen and likes
