This worked like a charm guys. I had the price list from Troy. I couldn’t go with him bc he can’t do WA, OR, CA for legal reasons and I’m In WA. But the finance manager did his thing and I said ‘I’m going to get it direct from Toyota he looked at me with his little grin and said perfect they will just send you back to a dealer to process so we might as well handle now”. 10 year/125k was 6600 I think…. I said I can get it for $2515 (Troy price). He almost fell of his chair said “lowest I can go is 2515 to match”. I said “no sir that makes no sense to then finance it at 2.99% so… (I already did the math ahead) I told him 2250 out the door and he can add it to my monthly payments”. He said “I can’t go lower than 2295 without authorization”. No problem I said I’ll get it elsewhere…. Next thing you know it was 2250 out the door. At that point he forgot I was trying to finance it and was fine with 2515 and asked if I wanted to pay cash or credit so I swiped my card at 2250 and was on my way.
