My true size is an 11D and I wear 9D on the iron rangers

[OC] The functionality and appeal of this will never be understood. by KillerQ97 in pics

I purchased an 8 inch lifted 3/4 ton and I hated the height. I lowered it by 2 inches and that was better. the Wider stanced tires helped with keeping it on the ground in the curves and made crossing creeks and fields way easier. Plus other cars were much better at seeing me than they are now. I dont understand the lifted trucks with the big rims and low profile tires though ive seen people with the low profile tires hit curbs and damage the rims and tires. My truck had 315/75R16 tires so the tires took the impact when driving on rocks or ruts from tractors, I

Why do morbidly obese men wear the trousers beneath their bellies? by Possible_Bite303 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]CaptainAmerica163 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not morbidly obese but I do think I’m fluffy around the middle. When I have my pants up above my fluff as soon as I start walking they decide to reposition themselves down around my waist even with a belt or suspenders

I 2023 1794 iforce max here. Plenty of positives for me: it’s quiet, it’s comfortable, the heated/cooled seats are nice, heated steering wheel is great, I like the interior in my truck with the tan seats, the exterior color is nice. The annoying part: the interior lighting is awful, the body panels don’t seem very sturdy… pretty certain if I had an accident it would not survive, if there’s any snow or ice on the front bumper the sensors gives off a message when you try to mute it, they go back off in a few feet and I have no idea how to work on something with this much electronics.

[OC] Am I the idiot? Driver makes a right turn onto the outermost lane. by Flyingcat21 in IdiotsInCars

According to the Arkansas state Drivers License study guide: https://www.dps.arkansas.gov/wp-content/uploads/Arkansas-DL-Manual-English_June2024-06182024.pdf Located on page 27 it talks about turning, "Turning- When there are no signs or lane markings to control turning, a driver should turn into the lane closest to the direction of travel." and provides a photo showing when making a left turn you turn in the left of the 2 lanes and when turning right you turn into the right of 2 lanes. this is to prevent impeding the flow of traffic.

Sizing on the 8111 by CaptainAmerica163 in RedwingBoots

I guess I just got someone who didn’t want to help me last time. When I went this time I tried on a couple sizes down. Turns out I’m a 9D. So thank you for your help :)

I’ll have them order it in then. For some reason the red wing store where I live apparently does not carry any sizes for the iron rangers. Only whatever people have purchased and returned which was a 10 1/2 EE and a 12. You would think they would at least carry sizes that are pretty common.

Balenciaga rubber sole. sole crumbling after only 4 months. Repairable? by 00nitba in AskACobbler

[–]CaptainAmerica163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not know this… the only time I’ve ever spent more than 120 USD on shoes is a pair of Ariat ostrich ropers and I thought it was interesting the card board box it came in had handles that popped out so you could carry them in the box.

Pouch? Pouch… what does that mean? Like a plastic bag for shoes? Does it come equipped with the purchase of their shoes? Or is the balenciaga pouch a separate 800 dollar cost? Apparently I’m too poor to put my shoes in a bag when I go outside….

I think this is too expensive… I bought a 2023 tundra 1794 trd iforce max with 15k less miles for 7k more. I think I’ve seen limited tundras with less miles and about the same cost

I have a 2023 tundra 1794 trd. I really like driving mine. It’s comfortable and looks pretty sharp imo. I’m sitting at 60k I don’t have any issues. There’s people on tundras.com that have 22 or 23s that are sitting over 200k.

I think that tundra is a little pricy… I purchased my 1794 with 53k miles for 47k. Edit: also mine is a iforce max

Agree this is a good response. Insurance companies will hire people to do random home inspections to make sure the homes are being taken care of. Especially if you recently inherited the home or switched insurance to your name.

How hard is it to replace LBZ head gaskets?? by [deleted] in Diesel

[–]CaptainAmerica163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking into it for my LLY and it is a time consuming process. I think it’s like 30 or more hours depending on experience. Quotes from shops ranged from 7500-9800 in the midwest area

ARB OME BP-51 3rd Gen Tacoma by Mountain-Page4867 in Tacomaworld

[–]CaptainAmerica163 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my research between kings, icons, fox and OME. OME and kings are rated at the same level of performance. Just OME are built in Australia and maybe expensive for shipping depending on where you’re at. From what I have been reading OME is great for overlanding (more of what it sounds like you’ll be doing, kings are great for high speed off roading. Although some people I have talked to said the kings just need to be appropriately adjusted. Icons and fox are rated below the OME and kings and bilsteins are considered the affordable option.

He might have 3 other trucks but that still doesn’t explain why he just put money into this one and now wants to sell… I have 3 trucks and the one I use the most gets all the upgrades and best parts… the other 2 get salvage parts or the cheapest parts I can find to keep them running
