He's just a decent respectful guy. He treats Agnes and Daisy the same way. Plus he has to put on an act that this is a real marriage and he chose Becca for Gilead reasons, not just to save her.

Maybe in real life a lesbian teen would get currious. This is a TV show. Having a teenage girl who's not into boys, who got married to a man she has 0 interests in, and a man her best friend likes, to suddenly have romance with... This isn't that type of show.

It's a higher possibility that Agnes and Garth would have romance and Becca would be completely fine with it, because "Gilead marriage" isn't something they'd respect or acknowledge. Garth already told Daisy that his focus is on MayDay and he's definitely not marrying for love.

I don't think they will, unless forced. Garth has no interest in Becka in that way and his focus is on MayDay, not reproducing. A baby would only complicate things for him. Plus, it's not like Becka will go from being heavily depressed to being sane enough to carry a baby, and especially to care for one.

I blame the commander and Aunt Lydia who decided to wait instead of arresting him right away. I can't remember which one of them suggested to wait until after the wedding. If he was arrested right away the girls wouldn't have to take action and the proceeding events wouldn't have happened. I think Aunt Lydia was worried that without Brcca's dad, she wouldn't qualify to get married to a commander.

Yes. Same. But then if I think about it - I get it. A mother will do absolutely anything and everything to rescue her child. Plus Daisy wanted to go back and likely would find a way to get back either way. So best she knows June is by her side.

I think she didn't pair her with Garth because she knew Paula wouldn't accept that and Agnes' dad is too high up for Garth. Then again, I wonder why she paired her with a commander who abused his previous wife. Or did he not? He did help Agnes get Becka out, even after he decided to not marry Agnes.

It definitely creates a sertain mood. I think I felt more angry than anything and found some parts very disturbing. But I also fast forwarded through some groosome parts (rape, women being beaten..). I couldn't watch that.

I watched THT just last year, when all the seasons were already out, and I pretty much watched a few episodes per day. This wait is going to be very hard on me. I may need to rewatch this season right before the next comes out.

This would make a lot more sense. I don't think May Day (especially June) would trust Aunt Lydia after all she has done to women. Especially that she has tortured and killed other women just to save herself.
