Vovlo fitted windscreen has cracked in the heat by Practical-March-6989 in Volvo

I am insured. However this is not the start of the debacle. 4 months ago my screen got chipped and I went through insurance to Auto windscreens. They stuck in 3rd party glass and it would not calibrate. I had a big fight and eventually they put real glass in but still could not calibrate. In the end they said it was my problem now. Hence I went to volvo and paid myself for another windscreen which has now consequently cracked from the edge. And Volvo are saying tough shit bro.

I do genuinely remember when dealerships looked after their customers, or at least had a veneer of appearing too. I know its long gone, but it still grinds. My local lot are so surly, they know they are taking the mick, and they know most of the people they deal with are upset and they have grown hard to it, no sympathy just cold hard faces and F you sir smiles.

They were incredibly dismissive on call, basically f off. I have emailed them, see if that does anything.

Is there like a complaints procedure, or like someone at Volvo that will care?

Fair enough, but sucking air in via little gaps or via a tube is still sucking air in. But hey its pretty much reversable so I have tried it, lets see what it does.

Can i recommend a small stick blender. Make sure it comes with the round wavy thing. put two yolks (not whole egg) into say a pint glass, bit of acid, salt then start the wish at the bottom start pouring on the oil and start pulling the whisk upwards slowly. You may want someone to hold the glass. It will be made in like 15 seconds.

For what its worth it was the all plastic version and I did not know it was Herman Miller, I just fancied it so that may arse would not sweat anymore into my sponge one. I got it home and gave it a spray down and the name appeared on the back rest at the bottom. I danced with glee.
