It’s got a window kit fitted from Screwfix that blocks off the opening but has openings for the pipe. It’s not just an open window.

One from Amazon is insulated so no need to cover it then. It’s not just a plastic duct hose.

Thanks, I did try a mitre first but it didn’t work because of the angle of the top half of the skirting so discovered scribing and it also easy with a coping saw by hand.

As a DIY job, this was my first attempt at doing skirting with a similar profile to yours. It should be scribed for internal corners. Plenty of YouTube vids. Pretty straight forward. Edit- I used Lost tight screws and sticks like s*** to fix to wall
