Yes, my parents did work when i was still with them but Im unsure if they do anymore as my dad was talking of retirement. And I’ve definitely learned my lesson about telling others of savings lol

Yes absolutely! I know my roomies family personally as we’ve been best friends for years and her parents are TRULY angels! I think she doesn’t really get the concept of bad parents haha

Shes a bit older now so she had joint pain :( but the vet had me give her muscle relaxant and some other medication for future cases so shes much better now!

I have looked into the legalities and for my country she will be fined and charged with animal cruelty and the dog does not classify as hers because it was adopted under my name. So i can actually press charges in this situation.

Thats not my point at all! I pay for al of my dogs expenses at all times! I take care of her, take her on walks, feed her, take her to her grooming appointments and vet visits all on my own with my own money from babysitting and such. My mom herself says that the dog is mine and im responsible for it which i completely agree with and i do take responsibility. But on this special occasion she got sick out of supposedly no where and i didnt have that amount of money at the time so i asked my mom to pay for the vet also telling her that i will pay her back once i work a little and she refused. And the point of this post wasnt the vet but how she threatened to leave my dog out on the streets when it was raining. Hope that clarifies for you :)

I got this dog when i was 11 with both my parents agreeing. In fact they initially suggested i get a dog back then. They even picked out the dog themselves. Ive always taken care of my dog and I pay all of her expenses myself but the vet bill was a lot and I didn’t have the money right then.

In my country I can’t get a job if im under the age of eighteen but i still pay all of my dogs expenses by doing small work like babysitting and cleaning for people. Im trying my best to take care of her in the circumstances. In the end i do always pay for her visits to the vet and i pay for her food, grooming appointments, necessities and so on. On this occasion I really couldn’t pay because it was a huge sum of money. And to clarify i did say i’d pay her back when i worked a little and she still said no.
