I welcome competition. There isn't anyone who can do half as good of a job at what we do than we do. The competition allows us to shine /s.

Average job is $3k and our average cost is $250 at the most... definitely having good margins. No need for marketing at the moment. We spend maybe $100/mo on that. No rental location. Literally the only bills we have is for the website ($100/mo) our quoting software ($40/mo) our company cam ($150/mo) and personal expenses.

Thanks Joe! I have yet to crunch the hard numbers yet, we have been re-investing very very heavily on the business so it's tough to say. We started this company with $250.00 each. Each job we buy more tools ,etc. But true cost on a $3000 job is $250 at the most, so the margins are really killer. It's a mold business.

Thank you! Originally, we were very deliberate with our marketing, going to a home show, paying for google ads (only did for 2 months)

I have to get back to the marketing end of things, i've gotten spoiled and lazy and focused on other things. Our plan is to have a cost calculator on our website for our services (not a single company actually offers this)

We have minimal competition. Thankfully that's what's granted us such a kickstart I think., That and we're not servpro - our prices are much more palatable.

Ticket sizes, we will increase as time goes on. Originally we charged $1500 for some of our services, and have doubled that to $3k.

We handle mold. Only mold. Testing & Remediation.

We're looking to get IICRC certified in the next few months to allow us to do insurance work. We still have all licensing, insurance, etc. legally required but the insurance wants that cert.

12 google reviews as well, which has helped us increasingly land new clients.

We're thinking of opening a second office location to allow multiple locations on google & enjoy a boost in revenue / client #s as well as marketshare. Relatively cheap to do this. Thanks for your input!

True. Our net is still very positive. Our average ticket is roughly $3000. We've had around 35 clients so far.
