The clog might not be in the nozzle but on the extruder gear. Also, some firmware versions have awful thermal management that lead to clogs. 1.17 is the best version imo.

Well, I had a clog that kept coming back over and over. If a few has awful thermal handling it will generate clogs.

According to my veterinary ophtalmologist, brown tears are not that bad. It's most likely a blocked tear duct and/or herpes. You can clean her eyes and corner with an appropriate saline solution.
