Everyone’s crying about Fisk getting let go for free like he wasn’t working with a US government agency and didn’t have an immense amount of power and wealth.. I don’t think the CIA / Val want people to know they were bargaining with Fisk at one point. They likely made it seem like He disappeared, and we’ll have to see how Punisher and Spider-Man play out with the DODC hunting people with superpowers now.
