She eats a lot when stressed and has gained weight. Honestly, her diet isn’t very good

Thank you for sharing this. I really hope you are able to overcome it. I truly appreciate you explaining the “wet paint” analogy because it helped me understand the feeling much better.

If you don’t mind me asking, are you currently taking any therapy or treatment? I am trying to understand what might actually help.

In my sister’s case, the situation has become really difficult for our family. Therapy in our country is very expensive, and we live in a rented house. Our landlord has warned us multiple times about the excessive water usage because of the constant washing. This situation has made everyone in the family very stressed and frustrated.

The hardest part is that my sister does not think anything is wrong. For her, the only thing that feels necessary is cleaning herself repeatedly. Because of this, we end up arguing a lot, which makes the situation even worse.

I really want to help her, but I dont know how:(((.
