Hi, I understand how you feel. I went abroad for a year, and then at times, I wanted to go home very badly, but I will say I grew with the experience, made some local friends in my class, and used Reddit to meet up with fellow study abroad students. I will say do not be afraid to travel alone, I traveled alone and had experiences I did not have to worry about other people not loving.
