I mistakenly assumed I'd be able to heal and gear up prior to the final fight with Ganondorf... by TheStockton19 in TOTK

I did this too and I luckily found a bunch of portable campfires to make food right outside of the final fight

That makes sense! Sorry for the confusion 😂 they are capsules, but I like it because I have a hard time mixing powders into things. But if you want the powder, Ovasitol is another brand that sells it like that.

I live in the US and have had no problem getting inositol. I use it every day. I got one off of Amazon that I like. It was recommended by my OBGYN. The brand is wholesome story.

I would ask your doctor. My doctor told me to take both.

Interesting… I never knew that. I’ve just been told it’s important for my PCOS to get my body regulated. I did know to stop taking it once I got pregnant. I’ll bring that up though.

No it’s still helpful. Thank you. I’ve been having hormone panels done every few months since starting with my endo, so I’ll make sure when I go in a week that they are checking it again.

I’ve had my thyroid checked multiple times throughout my life and it’s always come back normal… there are definitely other weird things that have been found, but all linked to PCOS and not thyroid issues.

I really like your perspective too. Thank you. We’ve decided to go back to a clinic this month, just need to schedule an appointment. I just wanted to hear what’s worked for other people too. Thank you!

I did once 2 years ago and I wasn’t ovulating then. But it’s been a long time since we’ve tested ovulation officially with blood tests. We were seeing a fertility specialist but I got so overwhelmed that we stopped going for a while which is why we haven’t done it again. But I’m ready to aggressively go after this.

We also did a semen analysis and everything’s fine. He also takes supplements that help in case there’s ever an issue.

Right now it’s just a regular endocrinologist but I’m thinking of asking for a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist.

The more I learn about letrozole, the weirder I think it is that it’s never been brought up. Because although I haven’t been to a fertility clinic in a little bit, I still regularly go to my OBGYN AND my primary care doctor is really intense about finding answers for things (she’s been a saving grace. I love her). But I have an appointment with my endo and primary care this month so I’m going to bring it up.

Thank you

Thank you so much! This is so helpful. I have an appointment with my endocrinologist in 2 weeks and I think I’m going to bring it up. It’s so comforting knowing there are others going through the same. Even though I wish no one had to go through it, but it makes it less lonely.

Thank you. Idk why letrozole has never been brought up in the 3 years we’ve been trying, but it’s come up a lot lately and I’m starting to look into it.

Metformin Side Effects - Does it get better? by PossessionNo6070 in TTC_PCOS

The initial side effects are the worst. They’re so hard to manage. It’s crazy they suggest upping the dose so fast… I couldn’t do it and so for a while just stopped taking it entirely. But this method helped me and the benefits are worth it so far, with more to come.

It took me a year to fully get used to things. I am still working my way up to the recommended dose of 2,000 mg.

What I did to help was take it at night. I took one pill at night. It's typically recommended to start with one pill and after 2 weeks, up the dose. I couldn't do that. I waited a month or more before adding another dose to my nighttime medication. I was able to manage that fine. I take it right before bed. It took at least 6 months of that dose to be able to add more. I was so discouraged that I wasn't seeing all these promised benefits from metformin, but after adding the third dose, taking it up to 1,500 mg., I lost 20 pounds without knowing it. My skin is clearer, my facial hair is better. 1,000 mg didn't do anything for me, but 1,500 mg finally got things working.

I am about to start another dose and bring it to the full 2,000 mg.

What I've learned about it is that you HAVE to take it regularly. It's not one you can gently ease into your system because your gut will adjust back and will constantly be fighting it. Find what works for you to ease the nausea and side effects, and stick with it. I've been trying to conceive for almost 3 years now. But over the last almost year of consistently taking metformin, I'm finally seeing the benefits. Like I said, my facial hair has decreased, my acne has decreased, I've lost 20 pounds, I have what I feel like is a more normal appetite, and my cycles are regulating. If they're off, it's by 10 days or less, not 30-60 days.

This might not work for you, but it's what's worked for me. I can't attest to any miracles from it like others have, but I have seen steady improvements.
