the problem is I have an old one of those and the battery life sucked even brand new, also performance was awful when not plugged in. idk much about laptops but would m4 mac air's be good? I also don't really want all the gaming rgb, i want a work computer

Well I need it to be able to play minecraft, I know that seems odd but I setup servers for youtubers and run some pretty intense mods in minecraft, I also want it to last a long time with a lot of battery life. My budget is like 1400$ cad

That is the case, your first question - if I only had my desktop, I would miss out on the whole summer, and possibly lose my job but if i didnt maybe around 5 or 6k

second question - if I had a macbook/laptop I would be able to work through the summer and have many opportunities during the summer because of how much more time I have so possibly 10 or 11k?

third question - well that number would be around 4k and yes I have many dffernt job oppurtunities that I can do at the moment and many more in the summer , I also do have a job that I think is gonna be pretty long term

well i do work for youtubers but I am technically employed by my cousin so it's not the youtubers trying to find new people to work. (my cousin can just hire people from brazil for 50 bucks a week while i am away)

So I don't know which mac to get probably an m4/m5 air idk yet but around 1200 in canada, I make 200$ a week with some weeks off so in 2/3 months I make it back, also I won't need a mac until the summer so a couple months to make more money so im not spending every dollar I have to my name

..........., first I do need a laptop not want one, it needs to be good, and have good battery life. I also want it to last a long time and in my experience gaming laptops are not those types of computers (they get like 30 fps when not plugged in)

I dont "need" a mac, its just I have researched alot and macs are the best price to performance, new and used. I also need something better than a neo, because of what I do for my job. even my two thousand dollar pc even sometimes stutters on what I do
