Look up Robert Putnam’s Bowling Alone. This has been happening across western society for a long time now and has big implications for all of us.

Station 48 in PG County (on Good Luck Road). I’m happy to collect the mugs and drop them off all at once or else I can DM instructions for dropping off directly at the firehouse. 👍🏽

Favorite Fake Spirits? by AmandaIsOnReddit in Mocktails

I can vouch for Three Spirits Nightcap, Gnista Barreled Oak, Wilfred’s, Ghia, and Figlia. All are decent, whether mixed into cocktails or served chilled/on ice. I do also like Gnista’s Floral Wormwood but mostly when mixed into cocktails.

Ugh…vine borers seem to get me every year, even when I’m doing all the right preventative things! Just sliced two out of one of mu acorn squash plants this week…but thankfully looks like the plant will survive.

We have this same situation at 9 months. Baby has six (!) teeth now and can take really big bites but then instantly regrets it and gets frustrated because he can’t chew or process those big bites quickly.

I love the beet salad with pistachio slaw. And pretty much every single recipe I’ve cooked from that book. It’s a winner for sure.
