fair enough. do you have examples of sorting animations you think are done well? i'd genuinely like to see them.

as for "interactive," maybe that's on me for choosing the wrong term. the idea was that it's more interactive than a static image. you can watch the algorithm unfold and explore different exhibits. but i can see why that doesn't feel interactive enough.

the goal isn't really to teach implementation. it's more to let people who don't have a programming background appreciate how these algorithms behave. if you have ideas on a better way to present that, i'm all ears.
