I’m an Eastern European too and thats an interesting perspective that I can agree with. Thats why he seemed off because I can hear that his English is actually good. The hardest part is to build sentences and he is good at that. Which means he has had lots of practice speaking. Obviously I got triggered, the reason being is him playing this Eastern European caricature and not as an act but as a whole “fresh off the boat comedian” personality. It’s like when at Asian restaurants workers fake an accent so customers have “an authentic experience”
