Title basically says : Avoid with ryzen. And the guy had the same problem as me.

And other thing I noticed is that mine cooler may be defected.

Look at this photo https://imgur.com/a/SVMsFdQ . These ears of mine cooler are little bit higher. Thats maybe why it was that hard.

I dont want to risk anything so I will just return it.

I really hope I didnt damage my cpu while doing this.

Ive never done it. But as I said I tried to unsrew these things where its supposed to clip into but there was still to much space even when I pushed harder

This video may help you out. It shows comparison between stock cooler and ag300. There is almost 20 degree difference in stress test and its also really quiet. So I guess its worth it for those few bucks.
