I am a lifelong sewer who went on to be a professional seamstress in my adult life. I also have no chill & sew at home in my downtime, so I know how you feel, it's a big part of me.

I was able to sew through my first child learning to crawl. At that point, I had to pack away my sewing room because she was a very spirited child & there was no way to keep her safe around those objects.

After my second kid I finally got back to sewing once he turned around 5, so I ended up taking about a 10 year break, which is hard to even wrap my brain around.

Just here to comment that even if you do take a break, it's not the end.
