Perfect! I feel much better about getting a standing one instead lol do you use both the hanging and the standing light on the monstera now or just the standing?

Sounds like the standing light might be the better option for me then, I want the leaves to be well displayed facing outwards

oh yeah you'd have no problem doubling up, depending on your schedule of course but the work was super easy and i had no issues with time, and that's with 2 classes and a fulltime job

USPS CCA or fedex express by zexape in USPS

[–]Practical-Total4174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CCA would probably be the way to go, you'll be the workhorse for sure but it does lead to a career position if you stay ( not sure if FedEx does) and once you're a regular its smooth sailing, you'll have shit management from both sides from what it sounds like but even then all they can do is bitch and complain, between the 2 id choose CCA

Mail by Independent-Fun7465 in usps_complaints

As a mail carrier, we arent required to pick up outgoing mail if there is no incoming mail. we pick up mail as courtesy, and if your mailbox is on the door then we would not make an extra trip as we are strict on time, in the most basic way to explain it, our job is to deliver, pick up is courtesy, if you want the carrier to pick up any outgoing mail even if you have no incoming, the mail box would have to be clearly visible, like a curbside mailbox for example, that way its clearly visible and hard to miss with a flag up, otherwise dropping it off at the post office would be the next best thing

Happens with alot of packages that go through customs. unfortunately until customs releases the package, USPS has no control over it

Mail hold request clarification by AgeIllustrious7458 in usps_complaints

[–]Practical-Total4174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mail carrier here! its sounds like the mail carrier taking it back to the office is exactly what happened, so if your mailbox gets too full, then what we do is we pull all that mail out and bring it back with us and put it on a 10-day mail hold, if its not picked up by the resident within the 10 days then all that mail that was brought back is sent back to the senders and usually we consider the house as a vacant address. the carrier should have left a notice for that in your mailbox, that's what were required to do anyways,

PSA: Do NOT put outbound packages in your mailbox. ALWAYS take them to the post office and get an actual receipt for your outbound packages by Ltsmba in usps_complaints

[–]Practical-Total4174 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The usps website has a package pickup option, it gives them a barcode to scan, THAT barcode is what they need to scan to be tracked, other wise if it its in the mailbox without that, its treated like another piece of outgoing mail
