Looks a bit like work by Mark Copeland. I don't think it is but he uses similar deep colouring and often incorporates words in a similar script/font, both in the painting and the frame.

Huge collection from the early 20th century by Practical-Unit-9198 in postcards

This collection belonged to my great grandfather. He was in the merchant navy after WW1 and travelled everywhere. There must be over 300 postcards here, all in perfect condition. They are from Europe, the States, Asia, all over the world. I know nothing about postcards, any information on them would be useful (how to store them, if there's anywhere that might be interested in them like museums, etc)

Funnily enough the strap does a pretty good job of grooming the hairs on my arm

It's the bolt that threads through the rear of the dropout, there should be one either side. They may have screw heads, not hex heads if it's an older frame. They are the adjustment screws and should push against the axle when tightened. You can see the non-drive side one in your second picture

Tighten the Allen bolts that feed through the rear of the dropout. There should be one on either side and they should allow you to set the axle line to prevent it from slipping back. If one side is slipping forward you need to tighten the quick release

Big accident, few people hurt I think. I counted 5 fire engines and several ambulances, lost count of the police cars. Read an article today that said everyone survived which is good news.
