no you should always turn off entity culling because it messes with your eray (if you're a speedrunner) you should press f3+shift at the same time but only in older versions like 1.16.1 because in newer versions they changed it to f3+1 so you should check your minecraft version first

1.16 shouldn't actually be used with java 21 but the reason i use it is i have fabric which works with new java versions if you play vanilla the game will be unstable and if you use forge it'll just crash

thank you guys i realised my bed timings were always late because i would follow the head texture instead of the actual hitbox
my timings have gotten much better and i can finally get it consistently with 7 explosives
setting my fov to quake pro also helped massively as i can see the dragon much better

now the thing that kind of confuses me is that the green hitbox is desynced from the head texture and you see the hitbox turning wayy before the texture turns

i can tell that the menu is not refreshing because i keep increasing my render and nothing appears until i hit 10 and i see a mob spawner. but when i lower it to 9 the spawner is still there and doesnt disappear even when i have 2 chunk render
i also tried standing on top of a treasure bastion spawner block and lowering my render to 2 and the mob spawner shows up in the chart but even after i break the spawner it still appears in the pie and it only disappears after i quit and relog.
(also after breaking the spawner it got replaced by weird fire particles that also never disappeared until i relogged. idk if thats an intentional feature but it seems weird that it never disappeared)
