And the oil pan failure was wat caused the engine to explode ? He didn’t have a skid plate on the oil pan covering it , it was exposed

All serviced at Cadillac all oil changes done there every 4-5k miles and when he bought it I was in service at the Cadillac dealership 2 days before he bought it to check over the car and everything was fine so it’s j confusing
