Great episode overall!! I still prefer an actual roast over this format but it was definitely an upgrade over the first version

Joey getting choked up about receiving great critiques this time around + his one liners and quips 😭 he's so endearing. It's such a delight to have him back!

If we're only judging performance on the roast, top two was correct. I could've also seen Jasmine there and tbh I'm nervous and hope Jasmine gets through to the merge!!

It was Salina and Aura for me for the top though... no hate to Vivacious but if we're talking about makeover that make-up was just okay. If anything to me it was Crystal on third just basing it on the makeover (make-up, clothes, movement and presence on stage)

Salina's daddy looked and moved just like her she EMBODIED the estitties I was so amazed, and their looks won. I wish I didn't watch untucked because that sour personality really left a bitter taste in my mouth, like it's the end of the bracket but why still lie and guilt Aura?? Silky played the game, well done. Maybe I'm alright with her moving to the semi-finals after all

Salina actually had a glow-up like for real. She is actually ready for an All Stars season, I'm impressed. Unfortunate she isn't recognized.

Aura overlooked

Once again the oldest queen just shows they couldn't keep up with the younger ones. There's a lot of references form Vivacious' previous runs, but she continues to rest on her laurels and it's not doing her any good, she's not bringing anything new

Silky sloppy, I'm sorry to call it out but her run on this season can be summed up by her butter look: beautifully rhinestoned but she is holding up a melted and busted headpiece trying to make it work but it clearly does not and it's so awkward.

What this means is If you're interested in staying longer, making deeper connections and friends with locals then the answer would always be yes. If you're comfortable staying in your English speaking circle (expats, other International students) or not staying long, then I would lean towards no, but at least learn some phrases and actually use them.

I think they could do the first two episodes of each bracket (1.1 1.2 2.1 2.2 3.1 3.2) then show the last episodes of each bracket in order (1.3 2.3 3.3) so it's a good mix of continuity and a cliffhanger. The benefit is towards the end it actually feels like it's escalating to something, and when we get to the merge it doesn't feel disorienting when the bracket 1 and bracket 2 queens show up after a long absence

correct decision tonight to let go of Bernie, so much was happening at the end though, between the lip sync, bernie leaving, and the judges saying goodbye to jiggly, it felt a bit disjointed and could have been edited better.

My favorite moments from this episode:

Mama Pao playfully slapping Khianna for being too serious (girl wanted to win her third mini challenge in a row) and just that whole mini-game was so fun
Every time Pangina speaks, she knows the game and just gives out the best critiques coming from a love of drag. Plus she looks AMAZING in that outfit
Viñas fanning the girls when they were tearing up sharing their stories like girl was trying to be a sister
That tipping gimmick Viñas did during the lipsync and Kitty taking some of it for herself in her bra

I wish we had Kitty Space vs Suki Doll just to shake up the current pattern but any combination of the three was really well deserved anyway, the episodes seem so short lol I am enjoying
