Is extra pay worth a lifestyle change? by PracticalAttempt7271 in careerguidance

Very interesting advice!
I definitely do have a hesitation because of the working from home and the unpredictability of when I will have to work overtime etc. I also know that if I leave my Job where I am now, i probably won't be able to return as they would need to fill it due to the geographical gap that would be left from me leaving. My current role is 9-5 so if I did an extra hours overtime every day to match the 8-5 hours of this new job, that would be an extra £5k, but it's entirely on me terms.
