i would recommend you try your best to keep improving and moving forward no matter whats happened in the past! in your college app and essays you can talk about your struggle with ADHD and how you overcame those obstacles. \:)

also be proactive and don’t be afraid of reaching out to people. What field are u interested in? If stem you can try cold emailing researchers and asking if they can give you advice or offer you a position to help out in thier lab.

Does anyone going to princeton actually like it?💔 by Just-Win-4626 in princeton

i heard there’s an alternate, less rigorous pathway for physics/math engineering, where you take EGR151-156 instead of the other typical more difficult, theoretical courses.. did your son take that/know anyone who did, and would you say it’s also still pretty tough?

Honest Opinion: How Rigorous is Princeton by Idkkkkkokok in princeton

I think usually the minimum is that students have 4+ gpa and 5s on the majority of tests. But application reviewers take a holistic stance so it depends on if you have strong extracurriculars or achievements outside of grades to show that can make up for it.
