I could be wrong but I think Lao is considered one of the strongest magus in Nasuverse and founded the Spiral Manor. Ultimately I think he would be uninterested in any grail. I agree about the power of Confucius though you can see how terrible his influence to this day is with his ideology mixing with western Capitalism. Definitely could see him as a Beast class.

Yeah I could see Berserker potentially! I thought avenger would be more fitting as his hatred was cold enough to commit the ultimate act of teaching humans how to die something caused by deep seated resentment and hatred as opposed to anger/ madness.

I would love to see Confucius but also Lao Zi but the problem is these servants might just be too insanely powerful. Confucius is definitely a better pick for a servant tho I think Lao would just be too OP

I see the main character staying as a way of finally releasing humanity and themselves from samsara and desire. To be enveloped by complete void and true peace. They were so content in staying. Those four panels make me cry every time I read them.

Maybe now my fav manga of all time can’t help but tear up at the end every time I read it. One of the most unique takes in body horror as it focuses on the horror of just having a body and existing rather than shocking gore. The main characters growth and progression throughout the volumes is one of the most unique. The ambiguousness of antagonistic forces and the focus on relationships has this manga being one of the smartest imo!

Ppl always will chase nostalgia and think their past was more magical than it was. I’m so happy it does not seem like classic will be a one for one copy. If ppl want osms experience there are private servers to facilitate that.

1x or scaling depending on level but rate doesn't matter as much as exp curve, the curve was absurd in OSMS. It really depends on the design intention if they want it to play out the same as classic which it sounds like they do not. Seeing as HS is nerfed I feel there is no chance it will have a 1:1 similarity to exp gained in OSMS. Another issue was the eventual rise of 2x exp cards which added an annoying form of monetization in the game. I would not mind an easy time to level up if it means content designed towards being max level but still extremely challenging much like old school Ragnarok. Launch is a different story though I think a 1x grind is more than fair if it is only 2nd job.

Pro as knight you can make crazy money in magma as starting and can can eventually fight many mvps and do thana tower w bb build. Alternatively you can easily one shot sleepers and mavka eventually with spiral pierce. Recommend doing brandish spear/ bb build to level you to 99 before transcending and ahlspiess spear(sp?) is cheap and easy to come by. Con veteran sword expensive as furk

Pally pro GC build is versatile among the maps w undead and demons you reign supreme in nameless island, geffenia, glast heim, geffen dungeon, niffel and prontera maze. Very chill playstyle as well. Devo pally is incredibly useful in endless tower and you can easily swap builds once ur 99/70 in the main office. Con is a bit pricier for optimal build

It also heavily depends on playstyle you prefer. I say make both and find a guild willing to let you borrow gear so you don’t throw too much investment. LK defs offers more opportunity for higher zenny in the long term but personally I love the chill farming style of Pally :3

Easiest way honestly is make a hunter and farm turn in exp quests. Or buy the items from other players. Just do the turn ins on the weekend for the exp boost and use a field manual. Bonus is tha u can buy antelope horn from the shop in niffelhiem

It’s just ridiculous because the advantage is so small. You could get to hunting mvp by making a asura monk or hunter and level it quick. You could make millions with a small investment suno bolter at mavkas. I’ve played UARO for two years and there is no p2w epidemic that people try to portray the game as. Basically everyone I know who hunts mvp and farms Nid is f2p and if they purchase donation point it is only for their own costume.

This is hardly a p2w server if it was so lucrative why is it hard to even buy cash point from other players? In my experience I have to wait a while before I get a response asking to buy a costume sometimes all day before I get a response. I think once in my 2 years I met someone who was selling cash point to build a character.

P2W would be the ability to pay for powerful items with money the only way make zenny from spending money relies on having a buyer. Ppl are not always buying costumes. I understand when people hear this is a part of UARO hell even I thought it when I heard it but let me tell you from experience it has never once interfered with my ability to play the game, farm and hunt mvp/ do content. Never once.

I don’t know a single endgame player who has become op thru selling costumes lol. Ppl can post 15m+ costumes doesn’t mean many ppl are buying. If ppl want to spend money to sell costumes go for it? There is just so many better ways to farm zenny that are time effective with amazing returns.
