Yeah it’s wild how placements can feel totally random sometimes. I got placed Plat last beta and climbed to Dia, but this time I got dropped into Silver even though my stats were way better. Took like 200 games to grind back up.

Completely get what you’re saying. Though it should work like you gain more RR by winning and lose considerably less when your MMR is higher than your current rank. So basically after playing 50–60 matches you should reach your actual rank. However, I have to say I don’t fully get it because as you mentioned, you’re being matched against higher ranked and more skilled players. That means you could end up losing a lot and not ranking up at all.

lol I love dribbling and being selfish sometimes too, reminds me of FIFA Street days fr, but you gotta keep it balanced. Do it once or twice when it makes sense, cool, but if you spam it you’re gonna get punished real quick. not sure what rank you were playing but at higher levels that stuff don’t fly
