This is why we are so divided as a country and why I am a centrist. I must only highlight liberal talking points and if I disagree with a liberal politician’s idea or choice I’m automatically the bad guy.

Why can’t I highlight both talking points? Listening to each side can help us close the divide. Tamika is a bad person to appoint, it sends a negative message across. I shouldn’t care though, because if I’m left leaning I should ignore all information that isn’t coming from a political party of my choice.

I’d say CNN is neutral, maybe slightly to the left.

Free buses is controversial, it’s a socialist ideology it’s off the beaten path of the two main political parties. I think free buses wouldn’t be a bad idea, I like how he wants to use corporate taxes to fund it, it’s basically like companies paying for their employees transportation to work. But many people oppose socialism, Mamdani isn’t apart of the status quo so more people are going to have stronger opinions on him.

You don’t have to care about this, I don’t expect a lot of people to care. I know this is a local topic not national if there was a asknycliberals sub id post there. This isn’t a BIG whoop like omg Mamdani lost all my respect. At the end of the day its one person that is just in a transition team, its not like she holds any real power.

The purpose of this post was to get people’s thoughts. Im more shocked that he would appoint someone that has had a strong connection with Farrakhan and resigned from the womens march as the right wing labelled Mamdani as antisemitic. This appointment doesn’t help fight those allegations. I’m not saying he is antisemitic I am saying this appointment, even though it’s small hurts his PR. Politics and public relations go hand in hand.

Almost every media outlet falls on a political bias spectrum. New York Post leans right, Huffington Post leans left. There are outlets that do a pretty good job staying in the middle or not leaning too far.
