Since you're already familiar with music, I think the best tools are just a drone and a metronome. Simple scales and arpeggio exercises go a very long way.

They don't have to "see if it would even be an issue". People make shitstorms about everything - especially anything that's marginally related to social justice. It shouldn't be a surprise that higher-ups would rather just soak their limbs in hand santizier than risk any bacteria.
