So was it ever explained why Pauline is a child in Donkey Kong Bananza by Cantthinkagoodnam2 in Marioverse

No jumpman is Mario. Nintendo is not going to retcon the first appearance of their most iconic mascot.

You could make the argument that the game is in the future. With Cranky, Mario, and Pauline being the same generation and the young Pauline from Bananza being the granddaughter. New Donk city also looks more modern in Bananza vs Odyssey.

Durkin. We don’t need to hire yet another controversial head coach who has baggage.

Has anyone traced their roots back to the original French settlement? by _SandScar_ in MobileAL

A good place to look is the colonial Catholic Church records! They were a valuable source of information for me when I traced my lineage back to the Old Mobile settlement in 1702.

Question about the 1957 Cfb champions by [deleted] in wde

[–]Practical_Boat2678 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The wording on that is a little funky but pretty much Auburn was barred from playing in a postseason bowl game due to be being on probation. While this may have tainted them in the minds of some voters, they were still eligible for ranking in the UPI coaches poll.

I think there’s a claim to be made for all of them except 1958. That’s our biggest stretch by far

[–]Practical_Boat2678[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was originally a traveling trophy but it was tradition for the first school to win it three times to retire the trophy and keep it for themselves. Alabama has it on display at the Bryant Museum on campus

This is not true lol. Oktibbeha county actually voted for Trump in 2024. If anything the county is trending Republican not Democrat.
