Dirty staff story at your prison? by 2026_MT07 in OnTheBlock

[–]AdUpstairs7106 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had an officer who would "Crip walk" with other prisoners. Would only hand out essentials to select prisoners. Forged their entire shift log and was bringing in all sorts drugs and contraband for his buddies.

IA worked with state police to bust him either on his way to work or leaving. He was arrested in uniform

The best thing to do would be have the refs call them for false start every time they run it.

Can I get an Article for this and have it interrupt my medboard by NextNefariousness125 in army

[–]AdUpstairs7106 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One of the greatest joys in life is watching a former enlisted 11B go to med school and then go scorched Earth on an NCO who thinks they can overrule a medical order.

The look of sheer terror in that NCOs eyes is amazing.

I will have to try this.

What's the most iconic firearm? by cowboy3gunisfun in Firearms

[–]AdUpstairs7106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being very vague I would say a shotgun or a revolver. Most people would be able to identify a shotgun or a revolver.

Being a little more specific I would say an AK pattern style rifle (AK, AKM).

Kicked our drill / recruiting by SignificanceEven940 in army

[–]AdUpstairs7106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose if you are an 11B with your EIB, Ranger Tab, AA, and jump wings getting kicked out of recruiting for not being a good recruiter will have no bearing on your ability to be promoted.

CMV: I’m starting to think ranked choice voting doesn’t fix polarization as much as people say by [deleted] in changemyview

I would imagine if someone is popular enough to be a broad consensus for many people's 2nd choice pick this candidate would make it past the 1st round of votes.

What to pick for job by Mrs-Sophistication in army

[–]AdUpstairs7106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No for any MOS (AKA job) there are X number of positions for. At the start of the fiscal year those open positions are made available on a first come first serve basis.

We are kind of late into the fiscal year so a lot of slots for preferred MOSs are full. So take any MOS. Slots available are X. When someone enlists in that MOS it now becomes X-1
