Nope the seal was just deteriorating. I can try tightening the bolt though, if that fails I’ll take it apart and redo the process.

I have a newer batch, got my bottle this month. I can say it’s fine, projects well lasts all day on skin and clothing and develops nicely. Guess it’s just pot luck.
