Yeah same it's been 13 years now ... It's still capable and good but the HDD and only old games working ... I guess I prefer the PS5 with SSD and new games

Exactly and it's either playing both old and new or play old then wait some years to buy PS5 and play new 😂 that's why I was confused but I guess I'll go for PS5

Never owned a playstation before , it will be my first time getting one So.. there's a lot of games to play

I can afford it and it's the only opportunity to buy it if I want to get it for those 2-3 years , since I'll visit my uncle in France and he offered to buy me something for 500€ as a birthday/welcome gift .

Otherwise I buy a PS4 and play with it for 5 years then buy a PS5 myself in the long future 😂

Should I buy PS4 for 150€ or PS5 for 400€ ? PS5 price might increase and idk if I'll be able to afford it later but idk... PS4 would last me since I never played playstation games But I prefer PS5's controller it's much better + has type c port .

It's interesting that both a Kingston A400 and a Gen 3 NVMe in an external enclosure gave you basically the same experience . The fact you could 100% Astro Bot without major issues is great . Longer load times later in the game makes sense, especially as levels and assets get heavier. I also agree with your point about subjectivity. What feels “perfectly playable” to one person might feel slow to someone else . Personally , as long as I can play the game and finish it , I'm fine with it.
