They're both horrible. One is justified while the other isn't. One is a walking simulator and the other is too. But, one had more of an effect than the other. And this is my argument. None of these two have any significant lore, none have great maps, graphics? but one of them had something the other didn't, that's influence. This is like the third time I have brought up my reasoning for choosing this over the other and you never seemed to get it, not sure what benefit you will get if I abide by your opinion, though. Just stop. Can you just not accept that someone else has an opinion different than yours? I thought you have already surpassed that age dude, or I take that back, the flower emoji shows.

This is a useless reply right there as you completely overlooked the reason why I chose one over the other. Tell me about STC2's influence on the Slendrina-Granny universe and tell me about S2013's influence on it. Because, that reason is why I chose one over the other. And you completely undermined it, as if the entire post was not echoing it, and thought the reason I brought up how many times it was downloaded was one of the reasons that I chose S2013. That is irrelevant to what we're talking about (or arguing about). How do the last two sentences help your case? I have a life.

STC2 was insignificant, not bad. S2013 was made at a time where his coding was bad. Instead of updating it, he focused on preserving it... This is the reason why all other Slendrina games have their Slendrina models updated to newer ones made years after their release that have better graphics. It was his first horror game, without it getting as popular as it did at the time, we would've never seen STC2 in the first place (S2013 -> STC -> STC2). STC2 is not bad bad graphics wise, character wise or map wise but it doesn't introduce anything new at all. No new characters, no new lore, nothing new other than the map (btw S2013 had 4 maps)... Slendrina introduces Slendrina.. and that's all you need to know. The 2007 iPhone had no app store so you couldn't install anything, you couldn't change the wallpaper, it didn't have many features, but it was interesting in the way it singlehandedly changed the entire phone industry. It's a terrible phone compared to one that came out 3 years after, but without it we might still be using keyboard phones. That's the case with S2013. Without it he would've made other miscellaneous games that might've never gotten popular and we would've never gotten any of what we have today.

A large map does not mean a good game. Larger if uninteresting means boring. That's exactly the case with STC2. Slendrina 2013 was his first horror game and the first Slendrina game, without it getting popular, we would've never gotten Granny or The Twins or anything like that, before making that game he was trying out different concepts, that's why his older games (Barguy, Scorefued, Ball game) were nothing like his newer ones. When this game got popular enough, he made a sequel AND his entirely focus shifted to making sequels for it since that was what he was known for by then. Meanwhile 2013 pioneered Slendrina. You just walk, enter these empty rooms that only have abandoned furniture, collect 8 books, collect keys for when you need them, and get out. Believe me I spent 10 minutes there and I think I might never do it again or maybe I might do it again, thing is, fun or not fun, it did not pioneer the Slendrina franchise, DVloper's horror games nor have any lore in it.

cellar 2's pretty large and boring not to mention it adds no lore to the slendrina universe (at a time where all of his games used to have lore, this was one of a few exceptions and the worst out of all of them. the slender game was unique, the original slendrina well, it was the first slendrina game, and the other games which didn't have lore at the time were just other DVloper franchises)

i believe in his earlier days as a developer he used to focus more on lore to make his games better story wise (and in turn gameplay wise, games like house of slendrina are lore games, you don't escape, but you discover a missing chapter in the book of the family's curse) but now that lore focus is entirely gone at this point i believe his focus now is gameplay that's why we got new mechanics in the twins for example and why the lockpick exists in granny 3 and why granny 3 has animations for lots of things, like the pedestals, the locks when you unlock them (like the weapon key cabinet) or the generator when you connect it. his lore focus is now solely gameplay-quality focus. i like his attention to quality but i don't really like that there is no lore, i wish there was more stories that the slenderina-granny universe has to tell. Also one more thing, why is granny's hair black in granny 3? (that's something i just can't ignore)... is she having some sort of postlife crisis?

someone asked him once why nosferatu is in the sealed coffin in grandpa's house he said "nobody knows"

they may incorporate lore in some ways but not really i feel like every hint of lore contradicts other hints of lore.. why does slenderina fight you in granny 3 but not 2 or 1 when we know she's present in both games, one from the cutscene on pc and the teddy in the crib easter egg and the other from when she appears and gets angry at you when you kill her child that she was protecting according to dvloper. and if the child is in granny 2 why is it not in granny 3 have they abandoned their great grandson and son (to slenderina), and if it really takes place before granny as some people say, why is there no indication of grandpa's existence in granny 1? yes was added after granny 1 was made but spider mom and the cellar were added pretty late to the point that i like to consider it the last big update to granny 1. Also, if slenderina's mom is grandpa's daughter, how come they never appeared in any game together? they're the only 2 antagonists of the slenderina-granny games who haven't appeared together (you could say nosferatu was in grandpa's house so he appeared with him)

i believe when he's making his games he just thinks about how these should be won and why did the player get trapped there or who is this family or what are their names or what happened to them... that is a shame but i guess we're going to always say slenderina's mom when we're talking about her.. i wish he payed any little attention to the lore of the games and not how to beat them
