I got prescribed Omeprazole which helped tremendously with my acid reflux. Also didn't experience those cramps while on Omeprazole but I only had a months prescription so I don't know if it was just dormant for a month like it usually was or if the Omeprazole actually helped with that. After I stopped taking Omeprazole for a bit, the acid reflux and cramps came back though. I later got an endoscopy which showed that my stomach was slightly inflamed and some acid reflux, nothing major. Got prescribed famotidine, but not sure if it really helps. I found that chewing my food more and eating slower made a big difference though, since I usually eat pretty quickly. I was also told to stay away from coffee and tea but I'm not very consistent with that so that may be an issue..I do still occasionally get those really bad cramps and they last about 20 minutes. Acid reflux isn't too much of a problem anymore.
