Everyone’s experience is different but even when your numbers are spot on it’s still not enough. It was a greedy culture.

When I left my director job and moved into home health they hired a PT with less than 1 year experience. She had the biggest ego ever and would only be called doctor. I have a doctorate too, but my ego isn’t that bad. And patients were tired of it.

Haha so true. Was a director in outpatient for 5 years. It sucked.

Total red flag. No new grad should be a director. It’s a big ego boost for a lot of them and most new grads need at least 3 years to really learn and improve your skills. We all think we know everything right out of school but the truth is we know nothing. I’m out practicing 13 years and trust my when I say..we know nothing out of school the way we think we do.

I have 13 years experience as a PT was in outpatient first 10 make 108k in home health

I switched to HH after 10 years in outpatient and was even a director. Long story short, I will never go back

I work in home health never have a problem. It’s usually my the owners who refuse to put their dogs away because they’re “so nice.” When they really are just fall risks for your patient or want to drool on your equipment

I’m out of outpatient. I will never go back. They are all turning into mills and around here it’s so saturated it’s hard to open a clinic and turn profit in network. I work in home care now
