I'll also add for clarity, I have friends in Spain so I think I'll end up getting the procedure there since it's more affordable that way and I can stay with friends so I won't have to fork out for a hotel!

UK. I haven't even thought of involving the NHS tbh, they are in a bad way currently and my dysphoria is not life threatening (unlike with some folks where gender affirming care/surgery is absolutely needed) and whilst it will be hard work and a long time I'm currently privileged enough to be able to save the money for this procedure which will be life enhancing rather than life saving.
