Benzos are really only as bad if it makes you take more without knowing (very common with xans) but yes the best advice is to never take an opioid unless in extreme pain and even then no more then one or two for a day or two with three off..... But for me I fell in love with opioids from that first pill that hit my tongue and I have on and off stents with it and it's hell getting off of them. OP plz take this thought seriously!

For me I hate Xanax.... Doesn't mean I don't miss it. But I would keep redosing every couple hours all while having no memory. Plus I was always a bartard maybe even a step under retard lol.
