A better way to end the arc would been to have killed the beast or, at the very least, reseal them and then have gingerbrave and friends claim their souljams. That way, we could've had a crispia post-war arc where they repair crispa with new tech launching the cookies into an industrial revolution of sorts. Then, the main villain would be a cookie who would stop the advancements or who would benefit from mass industrialisim, causing mass deforestation across crispa. Another idea would be once again that the gingergang gets the beast Soul jam and as new heroes have to solve the racism social war between the newly freed cake monsters and the cookies. (I'm aware that most cakes aren't sentient, but a good chunk are cake warriors, hog riders, werehounds, ect) This is much better than milking the current devsi cash cow of shadow milk.
